Alleged Violations against Progressive Finance, LLC*

According to PACER, in or around January 2013, Progressive Finance, LLC began calling an Arizona consumer to collect a debt. She insisted that she was not the debtor, but the agency called her up to 10 times a day and after 9:00 p.m. on at least one occasion. These calls appeared to come from an autodialer, and even after the consumer insisted that she was not the debtor, the calls continued.

Feeling harassed by Progressive Finance, LLC, the consumer filed a claim against the company for allegedly:

● Calling her over a debt she did not owe
● Harassing her by phone
● Using unfair and unconscionable means to collect a debt

The matter ended up being dismissed.
